Since establishing STAPLES Center as their home in 1999, the Los Angeles Clippers have enjoyed a world-class arena. Year after year, the franchise has shown its ability to recruit new talent, grow its fan base and break attendance records.

During the 2009 offseason, the Clippers reloaded their roster. After winning the NBA Draft Lottery, the Clippers selected consensus collegiate player of the year Blake Griffin with the first overall selection in the 2009 NBA Draft. Through a series of deft offseason transactions, the Clippers added depth through the acquisitions of swingman Rasual Butler, point guard Sebastian Telfair and forward Craig Smith. Add that group to the returning nucleus of Baron Davis, Chris Kaman, Marcus Camby, Eric Gordon and Al Thornton and the Clippers seem destined for a return to the Playoffs.
